Tideborn Tactics
★★★★☆ 4.3
Tideborn Tactics is a slower, more thoughtful strategy game where you command fleets across a grid of islands. Every move costs supply, so overextending gets punished fast. We lost our first three campaigns before the economy side clicked.
The AI is decent and actually flanks you if you leave a side open. Matches run long, which is either the appeal or the dealbreaker depending on how you play on mobile.
If you like planning several turns ahead and don't mind reading tooltips, it's a rewarding one. Impatient players should look elsewhere.
What we liked
- Genuine strategic depth
- Supply-based resource tension
- Competent, aggressive AI
