Privacy

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site. That mostly means basic, anonymized analytics — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and what device type is used — plus a few cookies that remember simple preferences like whether you've dismissed a notice.

We use this information only to understand what content is useful and to fix things that are broken. We don't build personal profiles, and we don't try to identify individual readers.

We don't sell or hand over your data to third parties for their own marketing. Some standard services, like an analytics provider, may process anonymized traffic data on our behalf, and that's the extent of it.

If you have questions about data or want to know what, if anything, is stored about you, email us and we'll explain in plain terms. You can also block cookies in your browser at any time without losing access to the articles.
